Miss Geena – Acting challenge – check! Singing live – check! Writing your own rap-verse – check! Comedic impersonations – check! So many of the challenges that leads queens to stumble in drag race, Auckland drag starlet Miss Geena would thrive at. Ru might even tap Geena as a songwriter for her next album once filming is done!

Buckwheat – NZ Drag Royalty, Honey! That’s the tea! There isn’t a pageant out there that Buckwheat couldn’t win. So if the producers are looking for glamorous and experience – they know who to call!

Glorioushole – Glorioushole is a Hamilton legend who brings back fond memories of the late great Next-Door Bar. If RuPaul’s producers want to make sure NZ’s fastest growing city is represented – no one reps the Tron quite like the glorious one!

Miss Mole – The host and founder of Christchurch’s infamous Oscars. Her years organising the South Island’s biggest drag event will have left Miss Mole with enough TV contacts to know the right people to talk to if she wanted to be part of the show. The only question is, would she want to join the race?

Spankie Jackson – Did you want chips with that? Because this House of Drag Season 2 winner is serving fish! Spankie brings classic Hollywood glamour in spades and has already proved she knows how to win a competition!

Felicity Frockaccino – Funny, campy, and a big name on the Melbourne drag scene. Felicity hasn’t been back in NZ that long and is already making an impact on the Wellington scene. It’s hard to imagine that producers haven’t slipped into this big personality’s DMs!

Kola Gin – From Caluzzi girl to headlining every major gay venue in Auckland for the past twenty years, if producers are looking for a versatile queen who’s longevity proves she can perform under pressure it’s hard to look past Kola Gin!

Daphne Bush – Camper than a row of tents and never afraid to laugh at herself – Daphne Bush has been capturing hearts from Queenstown to K Road for years now. After casting of Ginny Lemon and Crystal Method, the Drag Race franchise has become more open to alternative forms of drag, and our Bush is here to represent.

Elektra Shock – This House of Drag finalist is all about the performance! From death drops to splits to working with props like fans and fire! This is the last bitch you would want to lip- sync for your life against!

Miss Ribena – Queens come and queens go, but Miss Ribena stays around like Cher! Still the biggest name in New Zealand drag, could the Drag Race producers really resist inviting the Outrageous one to join? Imagine the commotions she’d cause in the workroom!

Hugo Grrrl – If RuPaul wants Drag Race Down Under to have a point of difference – how about casting a KING! This House of Drag Season One winner can perform the house down and is an advocate for diversity on the drag scene. A legit threat.

Tess Tickle – If Drag Race Down Under producers wanted to pit friends against each other then Buckwheat and Tess would be a great option. A seasoned performer, Tess worked for years on the Sydney-scene making her a well-known name for Drag Race's Aussie audience.

Medulla Oblongata – If producers are looking for a back story that can capture an audience, then this NZ drag industry darling is one to watch! A non-binary former-refugee from the Maldives, Medulla is well-known on both Auckland and Wellington circuits and is the NZAF’s go-to queen for Ending HIV campaigns.

Lilly Loudmouth – Rarely has a sir name been more apt. One of the most overlooked elements of Drag Race is how a queen will fair with their ‘piece to camera’ segments that narrate the show’s storyline. No one would better at this than Lilly who would bring abrupt honesty by the bucket load. Sounds like must-see TV to me!

Little Miss Cinnamon – Christchurch drag darling and express columnist (so we had to include her) this Little Miss is cheeky, sweet and stunning! A triple-threat in the likability stakes, Cinnamon would be a dark horse in a competition like Drag Race, just like so many winners in the show’s history.

Kita Mean - Miss Mean’s resume speaks for itself. Host of House of Drag, Owner of Caluzzi and Phoenix, Friday night headliner at Family Bar, founder of Drag Wars… And thanks to appearances at the Broken Heel festival a known name in Australia (a vital audience for the show). How could Ru say no?
