Brent Thomson has been part of the LGBT+ community for yonks, still able to recollect when the gay club was still on Anzac Ave, and the campaign for the Homosexual Law Reform when he was the leader of UniQ’s predecessor. It’s because of this personal involvement with New Zealand’s history of queer rights that has us ecstatic that he’ll be writing a monthly column about what’s happening and happened with legislature.
