Actor Kit Connor – best known for his role in the hit Netflix series Heartstopper, has decided to quit Twitter after being accused of queerbaiting by followers.
18-year-old Connor made the announcement following a video of him allegedly holding hands with a female friend resulted in backlash from followers claiming he was queerbaiting.
The video showed Connor holding hands with Cuban Girl’s Guide co-star Maia Reficco while in Paris.

Connor’s hiatus from Twitter also follows other instances where the star has refused to discuss his sexuality publicly, adding that he refuses to label his sexuality.
In a May 2022 tweet, Connor speculated that people on social media “know my sexuality better than I do”.
