“Dunedin is a university town, a family town and a hub for our wider region. There is a real need for a space in our city that connects, supports, and empowers rangatahi in particular. We are imagining a central spot where anyone can come, have a cup of tea and feel connected to their community”, said Dunedin Pride Chairperson, Max Wolfgram.

To have somewhere safe to go and connect with queer peers and people that understand your journey. And great for whānau too, it means a lot for us to create a space by community, for community, where people of all ages can go and just be themselves”, continued Wolfgram.
