The Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust has raised a whopping $57,000 for Queer communities across Aotearoa with their inaugural GiveOut Day.
The Trust, who brought the GiveOUT Day fundraising platform to Aotearoa, New Zealand, hosted a fabulous GiveOUT Gala last Wednesday night, which raised $12,000 by auction of a wide range of items and experiences.
Along with the Auction funds, the Trust also received almost $24,000 in online donations, matched by sponsors Kiwibank, Southern Cross Health Insurance, PWC and Aurecon, with $21,500 of support.
Following the event, the Trust thanked all involved, from sponsors, donors, and supporters, saying, “Thank you to all those who helped make our GiveOUT Gala a FUNdrasier to remember! Thanks to the volunteers on the night, Michelle Maitland, the team at Phoenix Cabaret and the brilliant Buckwheat and her gorgeous Show Girls!”

While GiveOUT day 2022 has come to an end, The Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust continues to work throughout the year to raise money and distribute it throughout the Rainbow communities right across the country with our Community Grants & Tertiary Scholarship programme.
