Nassib, who confirmed the relationship via social media after months of speculation from fans, shared a photo of himself on Instagram with his arm around former Olympic swimmer Dahl.

“Kicking off 2023 with my man and a trip to the playoffs”, Nassib captioned the photo, which shows Dahl wearing a Nassib jersey.

The confirmation follows multiple posts featuring Dahl on Nassib’s social media, including a photo of the pair together with the caption “Weekend 11/10″ and a heart emoji. Nassib reposted the story, further stoking speculation about the relationship.

With the NFL Season kicking off soon, Nassib’s awaited return to the league will see Nassib become the first active NFL player to come out as gay while signed.

Nassib was released by the Las Vegas Raiders just months after coming out as gay – a decision the team claimed was financial. However, he was quickly re-signed to the Florida-based Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Since coming out, Nassib has also worked with LGBTQ+ youth charity The Trevor Project to help “kids who are struggling the most.”

Nassib donated $100,000 to the charity – a donation that was matched by the NFL.
