Oxford Street’s world-renowned Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras was bigger and better than ever, with tens of thousands gathering to join and witness the historic 45th-anniversary Parade and Sydney WouldPride 2023!
“Out of the bars, and into the streets!”
Displaying LGBTQIA+ excellence and showcasing beauty and strength in pride and self-expression, the Parade celebrated the progress of the past while continuing the fight for equality.
Over 12,500 marchers and over 200 floats took to Oxford Street, marking the biggest Pride Parade in Australia ever and the first Pride Parade in Sydney since 2020 (thanks COVID)!
