Launched on Friday night GiveOUT Day is four days of national fundraising giving to LGBTQ+ community groups and not-for-profit organisations.
Last year was the inaugural GiveOUT Day held in New Zealand, and the hugely successful event raised nearly $60,000 for the 13 rainbow organisations that participated. Organisers The Rainbow NZ Charitable Trust will launch GiveOUT Day 2023 tonight at Phoenix Cabaret.
Donations made on GiveOUT Day and the four days that follow will be doubled by GiveOUT Day’s corporate sponsors through the Matching Funding Pool. The Trust has confirmed $43,000 in Matching Funding. This means that donations will grow to at least $86,000 for our participating rainbow organisations.
