As you step through the vibrant chalk pavement drawings at the entrance, you’ll be welcomed into the Te Ao Mārama South Atrium, the heart of our event. Here, you and your family can dive into a variety of craft activities. Get hands-on with badgemaking, contribute to a giant handprint artwork and more – there’s something for every member of the family to enjoy.
A major highlight of the day will be the drag queen storytime, featuring the fabulous Kita Mean and Anita Wigl’it from RuPaul’s Drag Race – Down Under. Known for their outrageous storytelling and dazzling personas, they’ll bring stories to life in a way that captivates and delights both the young and the young at heart. Don’t miss this unique opportunity for storytime and photo sessions with these drag queen superstars!
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Auckland Museum will spread extra cheer throughout the day with sweet treats and exciting spot prizes.
