Corey DeAngelis, an anti-LGBTQ+ activist and senior fellow at the American Federation for Children, has acknowledged making “mistakes” in his life following allegations that he appeared in gay porn videos.
DeAngelis was reportedly placed on leave after claims surfaced that he starred in adult films on the site GayHoopla under the alias “Seth Rose,” including a video titled Jerk Off Race.
On Monday (30 September), DeAngelis addressed the situation on social media platform X, stating, “As an activist for parental rights and school choice, my passion is personal. Just like everyone else, I have made mistakes throughout my life, learned from those mistakes, used that as an opportunity to grow and tried to channel that experience into something positive.”
He continued, “I was a victim of poor decisions and poor influences. I have turned that experience into the fuel that fires me to save young people from being put in the same position I was put in, and to help parents protect their children. I will never stop fighting for what is right.”
The allegations centre around his purported appearance in gay porn videos under the pseudonym “Seth Rose.” DeAngelis, who describes himself as a “school-choice evangelist,” is a regular guest on Fox News and is known for his outspoken anti-LGBTQ+ views.
He is also the author of The Parent Revolution, a book that promotes the idea of rescuing children from what he describes as “radicals running our schools.”
