Lil Nas X may have found himself a new love interest—or perhaps just a close mate—during a holiday shopping outing filled with playful affection.
The 25-year-old rapper, who released his latest single, “LIGHT AGAIN!” last Friday, was seen spending time with Brooklyn-based pop artist Cody Jon over the weekend.
According to TMZ, the pair were spotted walking through Los Angeles, where Lil Nas X leaned in and kissed Jon on the cheek. The moment was followed by a playful interaction as Nas swung around a pole while Jon offered him a small smile. There were more tender gestures, too, including the rapper touching Jon’s neck and shoulder.
This isn’t the first time the duo have been seen together. They were photographed sitting front-row at Adele’s Las Vegas residency earlier this month. While Adele seemed too focused on her performance to notice them, the sighting has only fuelled speculation about a possible romance.

Cody Jon, a 21-year-old Australian singer-songwriter, has been making waves since his 2019 debut single, “Poison.” Known for his bedroom-pop style, Jon cites influences from the ’80s, ’90s, and early 2000s pop culture. His sound is shaped by acts like Fleetwood Mac, INXS, Brandy, and Aaliyah, combined with nostalgic touches like Tamagotchis, boy bands, and Avril Lavigne’s “Sk8er Boi.”

Interestingly, Jon’s DIY beginnings mirror Lil Nas X’s, who famously bought the beat for his breakout hit “Old Town Road” online for $30.
While Jon hasn’t addressed the romance rumours or his sexuality publicly, he’s been busy sharing his excitement for the upcoming Wicked: Part One film. His recent TikToks, featuring him in Glinda-inspired drag alongside fellow creator Xóchitl Gómez, have further showcased his creativity and humour.
