The glow-up is complete. Robert Irwin, son of the late wildlife icon Steve Irwin, has officially added underwear model to his résumé.

The 21-year-old I’m A Celebrity
Get Me Out of Here! co-host has just been unveiled as one of the new faces of Bonds Underwear, starring alongside Australian rapper Tkay Maidza in a bold new campaign aimed at expanding the iconic Aussie label into the American market.

WILDLIFE, UNDIES, AND INTERNET MELTDOWNS

Irwin’s photoshoot — released overnight — features him in nothing but his Bonds briefs, accessorised with a python draped across his torso and a spider crawling across his chest. A nod to his wildlife roots, the shoot blends sexy with slithery.

From lounging with a snake to posing with a spider, the images are already making waves online. Fans are calling the shoot “iconic” and “hot,” though one social media user admitted: “I feel dirty.”

The campaign has gone viral since launching on Bonds’ official channels, although Irwin himself has yet to post the shoot on his own platforms.

FAMOUS FACES AND PHOTOSHOOT FIRSTS

Irwin joins rapper Tkay Maidza as the campaign’s other headline face — she also poses with a giant snake in the striking images. While Robert has previously embraced the world of glossy fashion shoots (think Stellar and GQ), this is his most revealing appearance to date.

Even Today show host Sarah Abo couldn’t help but comment on the photos when they aired live on morning TV, making a cheeky remark about Irwin’s “python”:

“It is quite long, isn’t it?”

US LAUNCH, SINGLE STATUS, AND FUTURE PLANS

To coincide with the US launch of the Bonds campaign, Irwin gave an interview to People Magazine, where he shared a personal update:

“I’m single. It’s funny, I’m at this point in my life where I’m like, I’m so open to that, but I’m just waiting for the stars to align.”

With his mix of rugged charm, conservationist credibility, and now underwear-model confidence, Irwin is clearly having a moment — and the internet is watching every step.
