Washington, D.C. is preparing to host one of the most significant global LGBTQ+ events in recent memory: WorldPride 2025, held from May 17 to June 8. The celebration marks the 50th anniversary of the city’s Pride movement and is expected to draw up to three million visitors, making early travel planning essential.

“Washington, D.C. is where people come to make their voices heard,” said Elliott L. Ferguson, II, president and CEO of Destination DC. “With its rich history of advocacy and activism for LGBTQ+ rights, the nation’s capital has consistently been a beacon of progress and equality.”
