Actor Cooper Koch has received his first-ever Emmy Award nomination for his role as Erik Menéndez in Netflix’s Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story.
The 28-year-old, who celebrates his birthday tomorrow, has been recognised in the category of Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie at the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards. With this milestone, it’s safe to say the birthday celebrations are kicking off a little early this year.
Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story is the second instalment in Ryan Murphy’s Netflix anthology series following Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. This season focuses on the infamous Menéndez brothers, who were convicted in the 1990s for the murder of their parents.
