The crystal ball has dropped—RuPaul’s Drag Race UK has officially ru-vealed the cast of season seven in a sparkling gem-toned promo, and the competition is looking fierce.
This season sees 12 queens from across the UK step into the werkroom, each bringing their own flavour of glamour, camp, and creativity. Among them are five queens from London, a ballroom beauty, and even the drag daughter of Sasha Colby.
They’ll battle it out to succeed Kyran Thrax and claim their spot in the Drag Race UK Hall of Fame. Here’s your first look at the queens ready to shine.
Meet the Queens
Catrin Feelings (26, Rhondda Valley, Wales)
A “blonde bilingual bombshell” who started drag during lockdown. “Life’s too short—chuck yourself out there Cat, what’s the worst that can happen? Probably end up on Drag Race. Look at me now!”
Tayris Mongardi (27, Brighton)
Tayris describes her drag as a “celebration of Black female pop culture” inspired by icons including Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, and Grace Jones. For her, drag is “all about Black queer joy.”
Sally TM (27, South Shields/Newcastle)
A queen inspired by The Sims, Sally started drag 10 years ago and channels her love of video games and animation into her looks. “I’m here to make you laugh, then gag.”
Silllexa Diction (26, Leeds)
Running her own club night three times a week, Silllexa is known for exaggerated silhouettes and comedy. “My breasts range from double F to double Z… they take up a lot of space in my parents’ garage!”
Pasty (30, East London via Cornwall)
Inspired by Mrs Doubtfire and Hocus Pocus, Pasty leans into camp parody. “I used to clip clothes pegs on my fingers to live my Winifred Sanderson fantasy.”
Nyongbella (25, London)
A ballroom scene regular, Nyongbella calls herself “a life-size Bratz doll and fashion editorial come alive.”
Paige Three (28, London via Surrey)
From brunches to bingo nights—and even performing with Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt—Paige is ready to push past her drag career “wall” and break through.
Elle Vosque (22, Belfast)
Elle rejects drag perfection in favour of fun: “I’m sick of queens who think it’s all about looking like a supermodel. That’s boring. Just go out and have fun!”
Viola (22, Coventry)
The UK’s only violin-playing, singing drag queen. “You’ll hear my gorgeous vocals and tremendous fiddling… and I’ll certainly make you laugh!”
Chai T Grande (32, London)
A proud Thai-British queen inspired by Ariana Grande, she brings unapologetic pop-star energy. “Being mixed race is fantastic—I can finally bring my heritage into my performances.”
Bonnie Ann Clyde (30, Dublin/Manchester)
Having performed everywhere from Dublin to Gran Canaria, Bonnie promises a variety show of comedy, fierce lip-syncs, and glamorous presence.
Bones (25, Soho, London)
A fine art graduate with a witchy, boho edge. “I was a club kid until Jodie Harsh whisked me away—and I’ve been doing drag ever since.”
From boho witches to Bratz dolls, this cast is set to deliver camp, couture, and chaos. As RuPaul says: may the best drag queen win!
