Rumours have been swirling online that Justin Trudeau has a secret son on OnlyFans — and, unsurprisingly, the internet has been having a field day with it.
The claim appears to have taken off after a viral post on X in December, when one user jokingly captioned a photo of a well-endowed OnlyFans creator as Justin Trudeau’s long-lost son. It was the kind of throwaway thirst post the internet specialises in, but it stuck. Since then, adult creator Ben Verbeck has repeatedly been referred to online as “Justin Trudeau’s son”, often alongside side-by-side comparison shots.
The problem is that there is no actual evidence linking Verbeck to Trudeau in any way.
As far as anyone can tell, the rumour exists purely because the two happen to share a certain look: handsome, polished, photogenic and vaguely political-adjacent.
Verbeck, a college junior and successful OnlyFans creator, has built a strong following in his own right. Before his adult-content career took off, he was posting political content on TikTok, including videos about insider trading and ethics in politics.
“I posted political content for maybe three to four months,” Verbeck explained in a recent video. “Views were good, I was starting to gain a following.”
But the attention quickly turned ugly. According to Verbeck, the messages he received became increasingly hostile and unsettling, especially once people close to him began being dragged into it as well. That was enough to make him rethink his direction online.
So he pivoted away from political commentary and towards what he describes as his first love: fitness content.
That shift turned out to be a smart one. When a photo of Verbeck flexing in a towel pulled in an extraordinary number of likes, it became clear that his audience was interested in far more than his views on financial ethics. From there, his career took a sharply more adult turn.
Now, while the messages are still arriving in large numbers, they are reportedly far less threatening and much more predictably horny.
Which brings us back to Trudeau, who — to be clear — has no known relationship with Ben Verbeck at all. There is nothing to suggest he fathered him, secretly or otherwise.
That said, Justin Trudeau does actually have a son who has attracted some public attention. Xavier Trudeau, who performs as Xav, is pursuing music and has been building his own online presence as an R&B artist. But his social media is a long way from the world Verbeck occupies.
So no, there is no evidence that Justin Trudeau’s son is on OnlyFans. This appears to be a case of the internet spotting a resemblance, running wild with it, and refusing to let go.
Still, as far as celebrity-adjacent rumours go, this one is relatively harmless. Ben Verbeck’s career seems to be doing just fine with or without the fabricated Trudeau connection, and Trudeau himself appears to be enjoying life after politics well enough.
At the very least, it is proof that the internet will always find a way to merge politics, thirst and complete nonsense into one chaotic story.
