Adult performer Drake Von is facing more legal trouble after reportedly being arrested in Las Vegas for the second time this month.
According to TMZ, Von, whose legal name is Dawson Bacon, was arrested over the weekend and charged with one count of misdemeanour DUI after allegedly crashing his car into another vehicle. Photos published by the outlet show the passenger door of a vehicle smashed in.
The alleged DUI arrest follows Von’s 2 June arrest in Las Vegas on domestic violence-related charges. Court records cited by TMZ state that Von was charged with felony domestic battery by strangulation, felony coercion constituting domestic violence with threat or use of physical force, and misdemeanour domestic battery.
Von, 23, has publicly denied the domestic violence allegations. In a statement to Out, he claimed the incident was “all a publicity stunt” and said the charges against him would be dropped.
However, police documents reported by Out paint a more serious picture. According to the report, Von’s June 2 arrest stemmed from an argument with his girlfriend that allegedly escalated into a physical altercation. The woman told police Von grabbed her by the throat, “slammed her on the ground” and applied pressure to her throat until she “could not breathe and she felt like she passed out.”
The police report also stated that the alleged victim had a bruise above her right eyebrow, a scratch on her hand and redness on her neck that officers said was consistent with her allegations of being strangled.
According to Out, the woman told Las Vegas Detective D. Groberski that the argument began after she threw a Louis Vuitton “promise ring” out of the car window. She alleged the disagreement continued at home, where Von took her cellphone and refused to return it before ordering her to “get onto her knees and apologise to him.”
Police reportedly called a SWAT team to Von’s apartment after officers saw an empty firearm magazine on his coffee table when they entered the property to arrest him. Von declined to speak with police and requested his attorney.
Following the arrest, gay adult news site Str8Up posted a video allegedly showing Von in a confrontation with another person involving a knife.
In the clip, a person identified as Von appears to approach someone recording video while that person repeatedly says, “Back the fuck up.” The person said to be Von can be heard saying, “Come here, bitch.”
As he continues to approach, the person filming appears to be holding a knife and threatens to stab him. The man identified as Von replies: “You’re not going to stab shit.”
Von later called the clip a “fake video that’s old as hell [and] completely unrelated to this ‘incident’”, adding that his “future is bright. I’m gonna stay on my grind!”
On 4 June, Von also posted a shirtless mirror selfie on Instagram, captioned “Feeling good” with a woozy face emoji, after being released from jail.
Von’s June 2 arrest came on the same day the final episode of OUTtv’s Ultimate Boys Trip was released. The reality series marked his television debut alongside fellow adult performers Max Konnor, Boomer Banks and Joey Mills.
