With 20% of campground currently under water, management say they must make some “serious decisions.”
Following two weeks of major rainfall, management at Uretiti Campground, a popular Christmas and New Year’s spot for Auckland’s gay community, are assuring this years celebrations, “will be different.”
The defeated site supervisors say, “After 14 days 7 hours a day pumping we are all back to the same result.”

“Thank you to those that have helped out but looks like been all in vein,” said site manager Steve Farrow on Facebook, casting doubt on whether the campsite will be able to run at full capacity this festive season.
