CubaDupa returned with a bang in 2025, transforming Wellington’s iconic Cuba Street into a vibrant hub of creativity, community, and celebration.
Taking place over the weekend of 29–30 March, the free street festival brought together thousands of locals and visitors for two unforgettable days of artistic expression, spontaneity, and joy.
This year’s festival featured an impressive lineup, with 275 acts and groups — comprising 1,219 individual artists — delivering 324 performances across 41 stages and creative zones. From sunup to sundown, the Cuba Quarter was alive with rhythm, colour, and the spirit of collaboration.
