Hot Pools – After Dark brought the heat to Christchurch Pride Month, with He Puna Taimoana transformed into a steamy, joy-filled celebration of queer community. Set against the ocean in New Brighton, the evening invited guests to soak up the warmth, music and Pride vibes in an atmosphere that felt both energising and intimate.
CHCH Pride’s final party, ‘Love and Light’ is set to close out the festival on a high, taking over The Core Bar on Saturday 28 March from 8.30pm. The party promises a glowing atmosphere filled with music, movement and community. The event page describes it as a night centred on “love”, “light, connection, and electric energy”, with multiple DJs, roving performers, and plenty of room to sparkle on and off the dance floor.
Doors will open from 8.30pm at The Core Bar & Grill on Saint Asaph Street, and tickets are priced from $15 to $25. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and the event listing notes that there will be loud music, speciality lighting, and a seated indoor area away from the dance floor.
