A new home, a new chapter and plenty to celebrate! YOUR EX was there as G.A.Y Auckland officially settled into its new Karangahape Road address.
G.A.Y has swapped its former basement digs for one of K Road’s most recognisable venues, taking over the former Las Vegas at 339 Karangahape Road.
The venue marked the move with an opening weekend across 23–24 October, beginning with a Friday-night soft launch before Saturday’s grand opening celebration.
Miss Ribena hosted the festivities, with performances from Yuri Guaii and Rosa Violeta, while DJs James and Hamish kept the new dancefloor moving.
For our latest Out & About gallery, though, we’re putting the spotlight where it belongs: on the people who came out to celebrate G.A.Y’s latest chapter.
