We love a man who can make us laugh. Quad-threat of the Auckland performance scene Thomas Sainsbury is certainly one of those men.

You may know him as the dactor (a dancing actor) of comedic booty-shaking group Dynamotion, as the lovable YouTube tip sharing Thomas Tippy or from being one half of the brainchild behind and star of TV3’s Super City  – Thomas is the boy-next-door with a thousand skills. This month, Silo Theatre is presenting his play Sunday Roast at Q Theatre starring Toni Potter and Adam Gardiner – and while he’s written over 30 plays in the last six years, but this black comedy about rural life in New Zealand will be his first professionally programmed production in NZ – well done Silo, well done.
