You told us in our 2014 Volunteer survey that many of you wanted to get more involved, but weren’t sure how.
We are now welcoming expressions of interest for many of our 2015 working groups.
We are looking for people with a range of skills but most of all a passion to make Mardi Gras 2015 incredible.
We have many opportunities to get involved with our working groups for Parade, Fair Day, Festival, Harbour Party and Mardi Gras Party. You could be part of the Parade audience team, create innovative ideas for fundraising at Fair Day, have a say in the programming for the Festival events or collaborate on the best way to run the end area of the parade route.
As part of a working group you will be expected to attend regular meetings and be able to complete tasks outside of meeting times.
Volunteering with us is a rewarding experience where you make life-long friends and develop new skills. We understand that people volunteer with us for all kinds of reasons: some do it for the experience and others do it to give back to the community. Whatever your reasons, your experience will be a rewarding and memorable one.
