After a weekend filled with circulating rumours, Julian Cook has confirmed to express that he has stepped down as Festival Director of Auckland Pride.
Cook told express he had no comment on why he was stepping down just three months before the 2015 Festival, but assured us, he was “absolutely,” proud of his achievements with the festival over the last two years.
Thus far no official comments have been made regarding his departure. Nor any announcements on who will replace him as the new Festival Director. express will continue to update this story throughout the day.
