International flight attendant and all round babe Belinda Dunne is tougher than she looks! Belinda has been promoting fight nights for 15 years now. She got into the fight game to ensure that women got the same opportunities to pursue professional fight careers as their male counterparts. At the end of November Belinda staged Princesses of Pain (www.princessesofpain.co.nz), NZ’s second ever all female MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) night to sell out success. With the likes of UFC champion Rowdy Ronda Rousey scoring major film roles in the Expendables 3 and the Fast and Furious franchise, it’s only a matter of time before Belinda helps launch the career for our next big kiwi star. She is also working with a big name local director on a film about what she went through to get kiwi female fighters the equality they deserve. Dunne tells express she would love to hear from any girls looking to get into MMA, and any hot boys who would like to pose as a sexy ring boy at their future events. She can be contacted through her website.
