We recently checked out Woodpecker Hill, the latest venture from one of our favourite gay restaurateurs, Mark Wallbank, and talented chef Che Barrington.
In keeping with all their other establishments, the food is fab, the interior fun, staff gorgeous and the bar amazing with great wines and beers, 65 different whiskeys and several own-brand alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The food is BBQ meets Asian and you have to try the Betel leaf, pickled papaya, peanuts, shredded ginger and mint and the Stir-fried soft-shell crab with banana chillies and shallots.
