Ivy Bar to Launch Wellington Pride Programme

Wellington’s popular Te Aro bar, Ivy Bar, is confirmed to host the launch of Wellington Pride’s Programme. The event will take place on Friday 5 February, kicking off at 8pm and will tease many of the festival’s events.

Former Deputy Prime Minister Bob Tizard Dies at 91

In 1986, Bob Tizard voted for the implementation of the Homosexual Law Reform. Yesterday, he passed away at the age of 91. But Tizard’s legacy of pro-GLBT support will continue to live on through his wife Catherine, and his daughter Judith who, like her father, is also a member of the Labour party.
