Global superstars The Chicks are set to make their highly anticipated return to Australia and New Zealand in October 2023.
Presented by Chugg Entertainment and Frontier Touring, the captivating trio will be touring down under for the first time since 2017, accompanied by special guest Elle King; the Chicks are set to deliver a series of unforgettable music events across the two countries.
Following their previous sold-out shows Across both NZ and Australia in 2017, The Chicks will embark on a nine-date tour, visiting Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, and Christchurch. In addition, they will perform special winery shows for A Day On The Green, including venues such as Geelong’s Mt Duneed Estate, Hunter Valley’s Bimbadgen, and Sirromet Wines in Mount Cotton.
The Downunder Tour follows the 2020 release of their highly anticipated studio album, “Gaslighter,” after a fourteen-year hiatus. The album received rave reviews and showcased a new take on their signature punchy country sound. With collaborations featuring acclaimed artists such as Jack Antonoff, Julia Michaels, and Justin Tranter, “Gaslighter” impressed critics worldwide and was praised for its blending of country instrumentation with delicate pop flourishes, as well as its potent mix of righteous indignation and scandalous storytelling.
