Aotearoa’s own Ben, proudly bearing the sash of Mr. Bear New Zealand 2023, delivered the ultimate thirst trap trade of the season. Luke, the reigning Mr. Harbour City Bears for 2022, served up a face that could stun for days. Jonny, the charming title holder of Mr. VicBears 2023, had the crowd absolutely swooning. Dom, the reigning Mr. Bear Perth 2022, brought butch snatched realness. And let’s not forget Graeme, the reigning Mr. Bear Queensland 2022, giving a fierce Eleganza extravaganza.
Hosts for the night, Dean Acuri and Luke Mitchell, skillfully guided the contestants through the evening, revealing a wild talent section involving a life-size blow-up penis, aliens, Buzz Lightyear BDSM, Bearlesque, and “sheep play,” which put a gaggy twist on the night.
Graeme, Mr. Bear Queensland, slayed the competition, seizing the coveted sash, winning over both the judges and the online vote, officially becoming the reigning Mr. Australasia Bear 2023.
