In an announcement to over 91,000 followers on Instagram and Facebook, Anita Wigl’it has told fans “Ivana Drink and I have sadly separated.”
In the full post Anita, aka Nick Kennedy-Hall stated:
“I’m not really ready to make this statement but being in the public eye I feel that many people already know and it doesn’t make my life easier by keeping silent on things.
“Shameel / Ivanna Drink and I have sadly separated.
“I really appreciate your messages and apologise that replying is too difficult for me at the moment.
“Please know that I will be okay but will most likely take a break from posting as often here.”
Anita’s husband, YOUR EX‘s current cover star Shameel Kennedy-Hall, whose drag persona Ivana Drink recently competed on Drag Race Down Under Season Three, is yet to make a public comment on social media, but told YOUR EX they were ‘heartbroken’ and hopes, ‘one day soon we can be friends again.’
“I’m heartbroken and feeling defeated at the end of our marriage. As much as I would have loved to stay together and work through our issues it just isn’t the hand that I was dealt. I wish Nick all the best in his future and hope that one day soon we can be friends again,” Shameel / Ivana tells YOUR EX.
Adding to YOUR EX, “Being public figures has made this a bizarre experience for the both of us. We aren’t able to privately figure out what this all means for us as you would in a normal relationship. Allowing us some privacy during this time would be fantastic and give us both the time we need to heal and move on.”
