Island Boys rapper Flyysoulja (Alex Venegas) has reportedly come out as gay during a recent TikTok Live session after facing a storm of criticism for a video shared last month, in which he was seen kissing his brother.
“I’m a top, I’m never a bottom, I’m a top, you understand what I’m saying?” Flyysoulja declared. “You gotta support me because, you feel me, I like men and it is what it is. I’m a top, but I’m a top at the end of the day; that’s just what’s going on.”
Flyysoulja pleaded with his followers for acceptance, saying, “You guys support me, because you feel me, I like men. It is what it is. I’m a top. I’m a top at the end of the day. That’s what’s going on.”
This live session comes in the wake of public outcry following the sharing of a video where Flyysoulja and his twin brother Kodiyakredd (Franky Venegas) were seen kissing to promote their OnlyFans account. The video led to widespread accusations of incestuous behaviour, with social media users expressing shock and concern.
“They’re biological brothers wtf? This is what happens when you sell your soul to the devil,” wrote one user. Another questioned, “Did I just see the island boys making out with each other? Ain’t they brothers?”
Flyysoulja swiftly denied these claims, telling TMZ, “We’re both straight males and kissing is not counted as a sexual act.” This was his statement weeks before he came out.
The Island Boys, consisting of the Venegas twins, initially gained fame in 2021 with their viral TikTok hit ‘I’m an Island Boy.’ Their rise to stardom has not been without controversy, as they have engaged in public feuds with other celebrities, including Adam22 and Blueface.
