The Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust has announced that they raised $60,000 for GiveOUT Day 2024.
The funds from GiveOUT Day will be distributed across 25 rainbow charities nationwide, a record number!

“We were somewhat apprehensive this year as we know people have less dispensable income at the moment and we were unsure how this would affect GiveOUT Day. We are only slightly down on last year’s total, but given the current climate we are wrapped with the result!” says Gurv Singh, Trust CO-Chair.
The Trust is now focused on its Student Scholarship program and is currently interviewing finalists for its 2025 Scholarship program. First-year tertiary students from all over Aotearoa have applied for scholarships worth $4000 each to assist with various course fees and living costs.
