On Friday 15 November, The Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust hosted a glitzy Gala to celebrate its 25-year anniversary. The night celebrating ‘a quarter of a century of supporting rainbow charities and students’ included a charity Auction, which raised almost $20,000.

The evening saw past and present Trustees, supporters and sponsors come together for an evening of Opera, Drag Shows and a three-course meal. Held at St Mattews-in-the-City and hosted by community stalwarts; Buckwheat and Steven Oates.

“It was so great to both be able to honour those that had the vision and tenacity to establish the Trust and also raise funds to continue the work and their vision,” says Steven.
