Netflix has released the trailer for the hotly anticipated Heartstopper Forever ahead of its 17 July 2026 release.
In the new trailer, Nick Nelson, played by Kit Connor, and Charlie Spring, played by Joe Locke, are seen together for one final chapter before the beloved series, based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novels, comes to a close.
The young couple remain inseparable, but change is coming.
With Nick preparing to leave for university and Charlie finding his own feet at school, the pair are forced to confront the reality of a long-distance relationship.
As doubts begin to creep in, it becomes clear their relationship is facing its biggest challenge yet.
Elsewhere, their friends are also navigating love, friendship and growing up.
Tao, played by William Gao, Elle, played by Yasmin Finney, Isaac, played by Tobie Donovan, and Tori, played by Jenny Walser, are all dealing with their own futures, relationships and the uncertainty of life after school.
The trailer raises the question every Heartstopper fan is now asking: can first love really last forever?
New images have also offered a first look at Anna Maxwell Martin as Nick’s mum, Sarah.
Martin has taken over the role from Olivia Colman, who was unable to return due to scheduling conflicts.
Fans of Olivia Rodrigo may also notice her track “Stupid Song” in the trailer. The song, taken from her new album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, receives its first-ever use in the Heartstopper Forever trailer.
