Tāmaki Makaurau, consider your Friday night sorted. Viva La Diva 2.0 takes over M Social Auckland tonight with food, bottomless selected drinks, live entertainment and plenty of waterfront party energy.
Labour Weekend is almost here, and if you’re looking for an excuse to gather the group and start early, Viva La Diva 2.0 is calling.
Taking over Beast & Butterflies at M Social Hotel Auckland tonight, Friday 23 October, the six-hour celebration promises live performances, a DJ, dancing, games, lucky draws and prizes — all overlooking Auckland’s waterfront.
The party kicks off at 4.30pm and runs until 10.30pm, with doors opening from 4.15pm.
Food, drinks and diva energy
Your ticket covers considerably more than entry.
Organisers are promising a buffet dinner and live BBQ station, alongside unlimited selected beverages including batched cocktails, house wine, house beer and non-alcoholic options.
Then there’s the entertainment.
Expect live performances, music throughout the evening, a DJ and plenty of opportunity to abandon the table for the dance floor.
There will also be games and lucky draws, with prizes scattered through the evening.
Basically, come hungry and don’t wear shoes you can’t dance in.
A waterfront start to Labour Weekend
The venue sits at 196–200 Quay Street, opposite Princes Wharf, giving Viva La Diva a prime waterfront setting right in central Tāmaki Makaurau.
And with the long weekend beginning, this is very much being pitched as an all-in-one Friday-night affair rather than somewhere you pop into for a quick drink.
Food? Sorted.
Drinks? Sorted.
DJ? Sorted.
A reason to assemble the group chat and actually get everyone into the same room? Potentially priceless.
The event is R18, so leave the under-18s at home and bring ID.
