As the shimmer faded along Ponsonby Road and the final floats disappeared from view, the festivities moved uphill to Karangahape Road. Inside G.A.Y, the atmosphere was pure exhilaration — a swirl of colour, perspiration, sequins and flashing lights. Parade outfits remained proudly on display, lashes (mostly) holding strong, heels still towering, and the dancefloor heaving with partygoers riding the emotional high of a day spent boldly claiming space.
There’s a distinct magic to G.A.Y during PRIDE!!
