This year’s Pride Parade featured a record 61 entries and over 3,500 people, continuing to be New Zealand’s largest and loudest carnival of change and diversity.

The theme for this year’s event was Pride and Progress and was a spectacular showcase of our Rainbow communities. A celebration of social changes and cultural achievements, while also turning the spotlight on issues “that obstruct our march towards full equality”.
