The Auckland Pride Festival and Parade will be bringing the love back to our fabulous Super City throughout February 2015!

Now entering its third year, the Auckland Pride Festival is firmly established as New Zealand’s biggest and best social and cultural celebration for the Rainbow Community (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Takatāpui, Fa’afafine, Intersex, Queer) and their friends and families.

The Auckland Pride Festival 2015 will run from Saturday 7 February until Sunday 1 March, with events right across the Auckland region. The 2015 programme has been lengthened by one week to accommodate the increasing number of events that are proud to be featured within the Festival.

Pride 2015 will open with a glittering Auckland Pride Gala at Q Theatre on Saturday 7 February. The ever-popular LYC Big Gay Out has been confirmed for Sunday 8 February, internationally renowned Bear New Zealand Week 2015 will run from 8-15 February, and the Heroic Gardens Festival 2015 takes place on the weekend of 14 and 15 February. A monster-sized Auckland Pride Parade 2015 will proceed down Ponsonby Road from 7.30pm on Saturday 21 February. Pride 2015 will close with the much-loved PROUD Party on Saturday 28 February.

Registration forms for Festival events and activities are now available on the Auckland Pride Festival website. Event registrations will close on Friday 19 December 2014. Please contact Festival Director Julian Cook to discuss your event before completing the registration form:

Registration forms for Parade entrants are also available on the website. Parade registrations will close on Friday 16 January 2015 – if not earlier, as space is limited.
