Fans have had to wait eight years, but the critically acclaimed band are heading our way to play an all-ages show in Auckland at the Trusts Arena on 11 January.

Recalibrating the music world with their atmospheric pop, their groundbreaking debut xx became the most critically acclaimed release of 2010, winning the Mercury Music Prize for best album of the year. Since their last visit here – playing Laneway Festival in 2010 – the band have headlined festivals around the world and sold out arenas in Europe and the US.

It’s another massive year for the London trio, Jamie Smith (aka Jaime XX), Oliver Sim and Romy Madley Croft, both personally and professionally, with Madley celebrating her engagement to designer Hannah Marshall in January and now, as they announce another their return to New  Zealand, their new album I See You has been nominated for the 2017 Mercury Prize.
