Fashion and branding in eyewear is big business. Only last month it was reported that Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle was responsible for selling out a brand of eyewear that she was wearing when they were photographed together in Canada!

Perhaps the leading luxury brand of eyewear right now is Tom Ford. He can be seen being worn by Johnny Depp, Elton John and Jennifer Lopez. Tom Ford takes inspiration from the 1950s and 60s, with many of his frames being heavy and black as worn so well by Colin Firth in Tom Ford’s movie “A Single Man”.

Another high-end brand is Miu Miu, from the House of Prada. These Italian frames are designed by Miuccia Prada and can be seen on celebrities such as Rihanna
