Robert Barry previews the two versions of the all-new third-gen BMW X6 Sports Activity Coupe (with the optional illuminated ‘Iconic Glow’ kidney grille) that will be hitting local dealerships before the year’s end.
The all-new X6 models are equipped with the M Sport Aerodynamics package delivering a muscular stance and powerful M Sport Brakes.
The new interior offers a high level of luxury, featuring 40/20/40-split second-row seats, that increase luggage capacity from 580 litres to a whopping 1,530 litres!
BMW Live Cockpit Professional and the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant are standard features and passengers can be granted access to functions such as music selections via the BMW Connected app, so you don’t need to hassle the driver if you want to hear Lover played one more time!
A towing package with an integrated hitch receiver, bespoke control unit and specific vehicle wiring harness is an extra cost option for the X6. The hitch does not require any vehicle part removal, ensuring seamless integration. The specific control unit is multi-functional and assists driver safety, while Surround View offers an additional zoom function for the rear camera.
More personalisation options include: Comfort Package, Vision and Sound Pack Package, Luxury Package and the xOffroad Package. BMW Individual full-leather ‘Merino’ upholstery in Ivory White or Black is available for $8,500 when selecting the comfort seat option.
Prices start at $146,600 for the 195kW/650Nm X6 xDrive30d and $186,600 for the 294kW/760Nm X6 M50d.
