Now in its 9th year, and with over fifty exhibitors showcasing their delicious brands, express chats to the Chocolate and Coffee Show’s organiser, Shaughan Woodcock about what makes this event sooo sweet!

Providing a unique and exclusive platform to artisan kiwi businesses, the Chocolate and Coffee Show gives over 6,500 attendees the chance to experience a chocolate and coffee overload at Auckland’s Cloud on the viaduct.

Whether you’re keen to shop up a storm on the wide range of cakes, candles, chocolates, condiments, coffees, liqueurs or buy the perfect Christmas gift, Woodcock tells us the festival has something for everyone including,  lots of live interactive sessions in the demonstration zones.

We can’t wait to see La Maxocco present ‘How to perfect your coffee making skills,’ or the demonstration of latte art and signature patterns by two-time Latte Art champion Barista Honey.

“Attendees can also purchase additional tickets to participate in Masterclasses such as Chocolate Making, Wine & Chocolate Pairing and Cupcake Decorating for kids.” Woodcock says, adding, “and you also don’t want to and our Chocolate & Coffee Lounge, where ticket holders receive a goodie bag and can enjoy a selection of Puhoi cheeses and Love Block wine while relaxing in the lounge.”

Tickets for the lounge always sell out fast so be quick to get in.

Not only does Woodcock, a former Auckland Pride Parade Director, get to work with two of his favourite consumables (chocolate and coffee), but this coupled with an opportunity to work with familiar faces in the rainbow community, making the event extra special for him.

“For me to be in a position to support their businesses is cool and I really enjoy working with them. There’s always room for more so drop me a line if you’re keen to join in the fun!”

“We encourage as many exhibitors as possible to offer samples, which they do,” assures Woodcock with a cheeky wink, “our chocolate exhibitors will be sure to take you on a really cool tasting journey.”

However before you get too concerned for your waistline, Woodcock asserts “the samples are bite-sized so your calorie intake will be limited and there’s also plenty of coffee and other beverages to distract you!”

Join  6,500 other Kiwis on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November at NZ’s biggest celebration of chocolate, coffee and tasty treats. Tickets from Iticket.co.nz
