Christchurch Pride 2022’s official opening night party FriGay Drinks was packed to the rafters! Taking over Castro’s Tapas & Bar at CHCH’s iconic Riverside Markets this R18 free event highlighted just how much New Zealand’s second largest city has gotten behind their Pride festival!
Deputy Mayor Andrew Turner was thrilled to see the enthusiastic turnout. “The new Christchurch is a modern, vibrant inclusive and progressive city. Pride is just one manifestation of that,” he told express.
