The legendary K Road Strip Club at 339 Karangahape Rd is set to become Auckland’s newest gay bar, Heaven. Opening in mid-May.
Owner Wayne Clark tells express that Heaven is aiming for a different market to mainstream club Family and cutting-edge basement bar G.A.Y Auckland.
“Family and G.A.Y are still the best places to go for drag shows, sequins, and glitter!” He assures.
Heaven is set to have a ‘more cruisey’ gay bar vibe, with a new state-of-the-art sound and lighting system and Auckland’s best DJs playing.
“Now everyone in the community will have a bar to call home!”
