GiveOUT Day’s Glam & Give launch party brought the fabulous faces together, but the fundraising isn’t over! With donations closing at 11.59pm tonight, there’s still time to help raise $150,000 for Rainbow organisations across Aotearoa.
Glamour met generosity at GiveOUT Day’s Glam & Give launch party, as supporters came together to celebrate the incredible organisations making a difference for Rainbow communities across Aotearoa.
The fabulous gathering helped kick off this year’s national day of giving, which is aiming to raise an ambitious $150,000 for Rainbow organisations.
After a record-breaking 2025, which saw more than $98,000 raised for 21 Rainbow organisations, the Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust is hoping Kiwis will dig even deeper this year.
And there’s a particularly good reason to give now. While matching funds remain available, every $1 donated becomes $2 for your chosen organisation.
“GiveOUT Day is unique because it brings our communities across Aotearoa together for one national moment of giving,” says Jessie Lewthwaite, Co-Chair of the Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust.
“Every participating organisation is doing important mahi in its own community, responding to the real needs of our Rainbow whānau.”
Lewthwaite says GiveOUT Day offers a practical way for people to support the organisations working on the ground.
“This isn’t about one organisation or one part of our community. GiveOUT Day is a chance to step up together and fuel the incredible mahi already happening across our Rainbow communities.”
Donations close at 11.59pm tonight, Monday 12 October, so there’s no better time to turn those fabulous party vibes into something meaningful.
