Pornhub has released its annual Pride Month insights, unveiling the latest in global gay porn viewing trends — and this year, the top spot in the US has changed hands.
While “twinks” — referring to youthful, slim, and mostly hairless men — held the title for most-searched gay category in Pornhub’s annual year-in-review last December, the 2025 Pride report paints a more diverse picture of desire.
In the United States, searches for Black adult performers have surged, displacing twinks from their longstanding perch. North of the border, Canadian users showed a distinct preference for well-endowed men, with similar tastes mirrored in Brazil. Chile, on the other hand, also favoured Black content, showing a broader shift in regional preferences.
Despite these changes, twinks still held strong in several parts of South America and remained a fan favourite across Europe, particularly among those seeking out Troye Sivan doppelgängers.
Africa saw Black-themed content dominate in many countries, although the bareback and twink categories also garnered notable interest.
In the Asia-Pacific region, Japan gravitated towards homegrown content, while former Soviet states largely viewed Asian content more generally.
Australia leaned toward bareback as the top category, while here in New Zealand, twinks took out the top spot, showing a familiar cultural divergence between the ANZACS
Other popular categories featured this year included group sex, daddies, and cartoon content, showcasing the continued breadth of tastes within the gay porn-viewing public.
