Wellington’s queer party crowd headed underground on Saturday 15 August as FRISKY RAVE CAVE took over Afters on Dixon Street for one seriously sweaty night.
Hosted by the boys at Frisky Events NZ, the party transformed the venue into a dark, high-energy playground, with DJs Zac, DJ Le Snack, and Jimmy Fade delivering a heavy mix of techno and underground electronic beats.
The dress code was clearly interpreted with enthusiasm, as ravers arrived in bold club looks, barely-there outfits and plenty of Berghain-inspired black.
From the first beat to the final track, the dance floor stayed packed as Wellington’s rainbow crowd threw themselves into a night of music, movement and unapologetically queer energy.
The party kept going until 3am, with plenty of fierce fits, sweaty bodies and memorable dance floor moments along the way.
