Taylor Zakhar Perez is giving fans plenty to enjoy while they wait for his return as Alex Claremont-Diaz in Red, White & Royal Wedding.
The actor has shared a new batch of holiday photos from Alaska, including surfing, helicopter rides, family time and plenty of scenic moments with his dogs.
Naturally, the internet has been paying attention.
A Very Good Year For Taylor Zakhar Perez
Perez has already had a big 2026.
Earlier this year, he fronted a Lacoste underwear campaign before appearing on the cover of VMAN, where he posed in a series of striking looks and spoke about returning to one of his most beloved roles.
The actor will reprise Alex Claremont-Diaz opposite Nicholas Galitzine’s Prince Henry in Red, White & Royal Wedding, the sequel to Prime Video’s hit queer rom-com Red, White & Royal Blue.
Amazon MGM has confirmed the sequel is in production, although an official release date has not yet been announced.
Alex Is Growing Up
Speaking to VMAN, Perez said returning to Alex felt like reconnecting with an old friend who had matured alongside him.
He explained that the sequel will find Alex in a different stage of life, more settled in his identity and relationship with Henry.
“The first film was this whirlwind of discovery, for the character, for me, for the audience,” Perez said, adding that the sequel brings “this added layer of maturity”.
That evolution should give fans a chance to see Alex and Henry move beyond the early stages of their romance and into whatever comes next.
Fans Are Very Much Watching
Until then, Perez appears to be making the most of his downtime.
His latest Alaska photos show him surfing, travelling by helicopter and spending time with family — while also reminding fans exactly why he remains one of queer cinema’s favourite leading men.
There is still no confirmed premiere date for Red, White & Royal Wedding, but with filming underway and Perez already teasing Alex’s next chapter, anticipation is only growing.
For now, the Alaska holiday content will have to keep everyone entertained.
