Social media couple McKenna Crisp and Dominik O’Callaghan have announced their separation after nearly two years together, telling followers there is “no dramatic story” behind the split.
Popular fitness and lifestyle creators McKenna Crisp and Dominik O’Callaghan have confirmed they have ended their relationship.
The pair, who built a large following by sharing glimpses of their relationship, workouts and everyday lives online, announced the news in separate Instagram posts.
Crisp said that because he had previously shared parts of the relationship publicly, he felt it was right to acknowledge the separation.
“There’s no easy way to say this, but as I’ve shared parts of my relationship online, it feels right to share that Dom and I have separated,” he wrote.
He added that he had recently become more protective of his personal life and asked followers to respect that privacy going forward.
‘There’s no dramatic story’
O’Callaghan shared a similar message, making it clear that the breakup was not the result of a major scandal or one person being at fault.
“McKenna and I have decided to separate. There’s no dramatic story behind it, and there isn’t a right or wrong person,” he said.
“Sometimes life just takes you in different directions, and things aren’t always black and white. Sometimes they’re grey.”
He also reflected warmly on their relationship and the time they had spent together.
“We’ve had an incredible relationship, shared so many beautiful memories and been such a huge part of each other’s lives,” he said.
“I deeply love and care about McKenna, which is what makes this decision so difficult, but I also believe that sometimes you have to be honest about what is right for both of you.”
Neither Crisp nor O’Callaghan has publicly given a specific reason for the breakup.
Their posts instead emphasised mutual care, honesty and privacy as they move into the next stage of their lives separately.
For followers who had watched their relationship unfold online, the split marks the end of a chapter that had become a visible part of both men’s social media identities.
