Crusaders coach Scott Robertson told the NZ Herald that only one player, All Black George Bridge, was involved, denying that anything “untoward” happened.
“George who I’ve talked a lot about, he engaged with him … he’s really upset about everything that’s come out, he’s extremely, authentically genuine that there was nothing ever said,” Robertson said.
Robertson also denies there was more than one player involved. Despite the allegations, there has been no hard evidence produced by the men who alleged the assault.
Up to three Crusaders players were accused on Instagram by Cape Town man Alexandros Paterimos of “physically intimidating” behavior.
It is unclear whether or not Cape Town police are investigating.
